Welcome!

Welcome to El Shaddai House of Prayer Church

Vision

Our passion is to exalt and glorify Jesus Christ above all else, recognizing Him as the answer to every question, the source of every provision, and the One who satisfies every longing of the heart. In Him alone, we discover true hope, lasting purpose, and the fullness of life.

Mission

Our mission at El Shaddai House of Prayer is to build a deep and personal relationship with Jesus by soaking in His Word, being drenched in His presence, and allowing the Holy Spirit to overflow through us to others. In doing so, we seek to ignite hearts with the fire of His love and power.

Who we are

We are a community of believers who are passionate about sharing the love of Christ with everyone we meet. Our services are designed to be uplifting and inspiring, with a focus on worship, prayer, and biblical teaching. Whether you are a lifelong Christian or just starting to explore your faith, we invite you to join us and discover the joy of knowing Jesus. Through a blend of contemporary worship music, timeless hymns, and traditional songs, our worship services are vibrant, Spirit-filled, and centered on exalting the name of Jesus above all else.

What we BELIEVE

  • WE BELIEVE: The Bible, both Old and New Testaments is without error and is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God and declares His design and plan for humankind. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • WE BELIEVE: There is only One True God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
  • WE BELIEVE: In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in his sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death who is forever one Christ with two natures-God and man-in one person. (John 1:1,14, 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:16, Philippians 2:5-6)
  • WE BELIEVE: All of humankind was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience sin entered the world and ushered in evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world. (Romans 5:8)
  • WE BELIEVE: Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship with God through Salvation (we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, Titus 3:5)
  • WE BELIEVE Repentance is the commitment to sincerely turn from sin and follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:21, 1 John 1:9)
  • WE BELIEVE: The Empowering of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers for power in Christian Witness. The Holy Spirit in one's life brings forth changes, including a renewed love for God and His Word, as well as an embracing love for humankind and holy living. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4)
  • WE BELIEVE: "This is God's will for you, your sanctification," (1 Thessalonians 4:3). Deliverance from the power of sin is a present and continuous process in a believer becoming like Christ, which takes place by the Holy Spirit's power and presence. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8)
  • WE BELIEVE: The Bible teaches that each believer must make a strong commitment to build relational bridges to the unsaved/unchurched in order for Christ, through His body, to meet human needs with ministries of love and compassion. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 1:12)
  • WE BELIEVE: Christ's vicarious death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of all humankind, however, God's benefits are for those who have trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Healing, body, soul and spirit as well as all of God's provisions for Christ's followers are provided for in the atonement, but these must be appropriated. (Romans 5:10-11)
  • WE BELIEVE: In The Blessed Hope-The Second Coming of Christ-the imminent return of our Lord; begins with a personal coming, physical coming, visible coming, sudden coming, and a glorious coming. (Matthew 24:30, Acts 1:11, Acts 3:20, Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3, Hebrews
    9:28)

PASTOR PRABHU KONA

Pastor Prabhu Kona is a Pastor and Biblical  Counselor who began his journey in ministry at the age of 17, answering God's call with a heart devoted to serving Him. From his early years, he faithfully served in various ministry roles, including as a Bible study leader, mentoring and discipling believers through the teaching of God's Word.

During his years at Karunya, Pastor Prabhu served as the principal worship leader, leading daily corporate worship for four consecutive years for a congregation of more than 2,500 students. His ministry in worship helped cultivate an atmosphere of passionate praise, prayer, and spiritual renewal among the student community.

He has also led and organized numerous Gospel crusades and evangelistic gatherings across India, ministering in Goa, Bangalore, Anantapur, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad. Through these large-scale outreach events, the Gospel reached and impacted gatherings totaling more than 300,000 people, with many experiencing salvation, healing, deliverance, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

After relocating to the United States, the Kona family founded

El Shaddai House of Prayer in 2017, a Spirit-led ministry with a vision to soak, drench, overflow, and ignite believers through intercession, healing, deliverance, and community transformation. Since its inception, Pastor Prabhu has ministered faithfully throughout the Phoenix Valley and beyond, witnessing powerful moves of God marked by signs, wonders, miracles, and transformed lives. He has been spiritually mentored, affirmed, and ministerially covered under the leadership of Pastor Rev. Dr. T. Valson Abraham and Pastor Johnson George, who have provided guidance, encouragement, and pastoral oversight throughout his ministry journey. Under their spiritual leadership, he has been prayerfully commissioned and affirmed in his ministerial calling, receiving continued accountability in service.

As a Pastor and Biblical Counselor, Pastor Prabhu is passionate about equipping believers through sound biblical teaching, Spirit-led discipleship, and compassionate counseling rooted in the Word of God. He continues to carry a deep passion for revival, worship, and raising up a generation that walks in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, fulfilling God's purpose and advancing His Kingdom.

SWETHA KONA

Swetha Kona has been serving the Lord since the age of 14, beginning her ministry journey as a VBS leader, Sunday School teacher, and youth ministry volunteer. From an early age, she developed a strong passion for teaching God’s Word and discipling children and youth in their walk with Christ.

In 2017, she became the Co-Founder of El Shaddai House of Prayer International Ministry, partnering in the vision to proclaim the Gospel, equip believers, and serve communities through Christ-centered ministry. Since then, she has faithfully served in leadership, supporting teaching, discipleship, prayer, mentoring, and ministry development.

As an Ordained Biblical Counselor, she ministers with compassion and biblical truth, walking alongside individuals and families toward healing, restoration, and spiritual growth through God’s Word.

She continues to serve actively in Children’s Ministry, with a deep burden to help children know Jesus, grow in faith, and understand their identity and purpose in Him. Her heart remains fully committed to serving God with humility, integrity, and faithfulness, desiring to see lives transformed for the glory of Christ.

RACHEL KONA

Rachel Kona is a passionate worship leader and children's minister who has dedicated her life to serving the Lord from a young age. Throughout her childhood, she received multiple prophetic words affirming God's call upon her life, particularly in the area of worship and music ministry.

At the age of 12, Rachel began serving on the worship team at Skyway Church, becoming the youngest member of the team. Her heart for worship, faithfulness, and spiritual maturity allowed her to grow in ministry, equipping her to lead others into the presence of God.

As the ministry of El Shaddai House of Prayer grew, Rachel stepped into the role of Worship Leader, leading congregations in heartfelt praise and worship while encouraging believers to encounter God's presence.

Alongside her passion for worship, God placed a deep burden on Rachel's heart for children. In response to this calling, she founded F.R.O.G. Kids Ministry (Fully Rely On God) as the children's ministry of El Shaddai House of Prayer. Through biblical teaching, worship, prayer, and interactive discipleship, she is committed to helping children develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith from an early age.

In recognition of her calling, faithful service, and commitment to raising the next generation for Christ, Rachel was ordained as the Children's Ministry Leader in 2025. She continues to serve with a heart of humility, seeking to nurture young lives, inspire authentic worship, and equip children to become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
